Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

This privacy policy applies to the rclone Google API client registered under this domain. rclone is the open-source, third-party rclone command-line tool, configured here for personal use to sync files with a Google Photos account. This page describes how that connection handles data when you (the account owner) authorize it.

Who operates this

This client is operated by an individual for personal use, not on behalf of a company. Contact: admin@z00.space.

What data is accessed

When authorized, this client can request the following Google Photos permissions (scopes) via the Google Photos Library API:

This client cannot see, modify, or delete any photos, videos, or albums in your library other than the ones it created or uploaded itself.

How the data is used

Data accessed through these scopes is used solely to upload, organize, and retrieve your own photos and videos between your own local storage and your own Google Photos account, at your direction, using the rclone software running on your own device. No photo, video, or account data is transmitted to, viewed by, or stored by any third party, server, or service other than Google's own infrastructure and your own device.

Data sharing

No data obtained through this client is sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party. There is no advertising, analytics, or tracking associated with this client.

Data retention and deletion

This client does not retain a separate copy of your photos or videos outside of the Google Photos library itself and the device(s) you run rclone on. You can revoke this client's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, which immediately stops any further access.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "last updated" date.
